We wanted to provide an opportunity for you to see Compassion Family Medicine or CFM at a glance. In other words, this is a quick synopsis, summary, or overview of who we are and what we do!
Dr. Nevin White and Dr. Emily White are the physicians and owners of Compassion Family Medicine. CFM is a private practice, Family Medicine, and Primary Care clinic that sees patients of all ages. But more specifically we are a Direct Primary Care or DPC practice. Others refer to this as Concierge Medicine, but some note differences between the terminology (we are formally a DPC clinic specifically).
We don’t accept health insurance, similar to other DPC clinics, but we do offer membership options at affordable prices.
In addition to being affordable, we try to provide excellent and accessible medical care. We strive to be available to our patients allowing them direct access to Dr. White when medical needs and questions arise.
We offer a wide array of medical services such as annual physical exams or wellness checks, chronic disease management, acute sick visits (similar to urgent care), procedures (such as joint injections), pediatrics, telemedicine, vitamin therapy (such as vitamin B12 and D3), weight loss therapy, hormone therapy, sleep therapy, and more!
Even though we don’t accept health insurance, patients can still use their insurance for labs, imaging, medications, referrals, etc. Patients are also surprised to see how smooth the process is and how well they are taken care of at a private clinic compared to a large health system and even without using insurance.
