New Medical Services

At Compassion Family Medicine (CFM) we have added some exciting new medical services that we are offering to our patients! We are a Family Medicine, Direct Primary Care (DPC), and Concierge Medicine (CM) clinic. We strive to offer accessible, affordable, excellent family medicine/primary care medical services such as chronic disease management, acute sick visits, adult and pediatric annual physical exams and wellness visits, telemedicine, and more (see the “Services” tab in the main menu above).

Recently we have added new medical services and they are listed in this paragraph as well as in the footer (bottom) of our website under the “Special Services” heading (see below). In addition to our usual Direct Primary Care (DPC) and Concierge Medicine (CM) services, we are now offering weight loss therapy, joint injections,  B12 shots and vitamin therapy, hormone therapy (such as Testosterone), steroid allergy shots, sleep therapy, and more!

Of note, we are offering the weight loss therapy program to primary care membership patients and non-membership patients. Non-membership patients or non-primary care patients can sign up for the weight loss program through a separate, special weight loss membership or track. Celebrating 25 Patients

Celebrating 25 Patients:

Here at Compassion Family Medicine (CFM), we are pleased to announce that we are celebrating 25 patients that have joined our clinic and signed up for the monthly membership! We are grateful and honored that they are allowing us to take care of their medical care and we are happy to welcome them to the CFM family. We also have helped some patients who have opted for the non-membership track and have been seen for one time visits or urgent care type visits in the “pay as you go” option.

What’s new at Compassion Family Medicine (CFM)? Here we will provide the CFM News and Updates! 

In case you missed it, we posted a new page in the website footer (bottom of website) called “CFM At a Glance.”  We wanted to provide an opportunity for you to have a brief overview or synopsis of who Compassion Family Medicine is and what we do!  Check out this new page and the other new pages and services added to our website footer!

Urgent Care Near Me

If you are searching for an Urgent Care Near Me, then please visit or call us at Compassion Family Medicine. We are happy to help you! We are a Direct Primary Care (DPC), Family Medicine, and Concierge Medicine clinic. We offer monthly memberships for chronic and acute care medical problems as well as annual physical exams or yearly check-ups. But we also offer non-membership and pay as you go options and essentially function as an urgent care.

We don’t take health insurance, but we do try to make our prices fair and affordable and often are cheaper than the urgent cares and emergency medical (ER) centers in town. We can see “cash pay” patients without insurance of course, but some people that do have health insurance opt to use our services without utilizing their health insurance plan as well. If we refer you for a test or lab or specialist, then you can subsequently use your insurance in that regard.

We can help with acute sick visits and illnesses such as sore throat, strep throat, sinus infection, cough, etc. We can also help with minor lacerations, abscess drainage, UTI’s, things of that nature, and more. We don’t see high acuity cases that may be suited for a formal urgent care or ER, however, as an effort of full disclosure and transparency. We do offer in-person as well as online telemedicine and online urgent care type visits for the appropriate cases and situations if needed.

Concierge Medicine Clinic

What is a Concierge Medicine Clinic?

  • Concierge Medicine Clinics provide health care typically through clinic memberships in which primary care doctors provide medical care to patients. These practices offer same-day appointments as well as longer visits when needed. The practices also offer varying other advantages or medical services.
  • The primary care doctors also often provide a cell phone number to membership patients to allow them to connect directly with their doctor if they desire.
  • Some Concierge Medicine or Direct Primary Care (DPC) clinics offer non-membership and pay as you go options as well, but not all of them do. Some are membership based only. Some Concierge clinics accept health insurance for their services and some do not.

Is Compassion Family Medicine (CFM) a Concierge Medicine (CM) Clinic?

  • Compassion Family Medicine (CFM) is a most specifically a Direct Primary Care (DPC) clinic.
  • However, we do utilize the Concierge Medicine (CM) term occasionally.  We mention the CM title or term when explaining our DPC practice or which medical services we offer. Often patients might be more familiar with the concierge title rather than DPC so it helps to use or even explain both terms when necessary. Some patients might be more familiar with DPC rather than CM as well so the inverse is true.
  • With all that said, we may not be exactly like other DPC or CM clinics. We try to offer affordable and reasonable membership prices (Compassion Plans). We also offer non-membership and pay as you go options as well. Services, hours, and other characteristics amongst each clinic may vary as well. DPC clinics do often have similar frameworks or concepts in general though, thereby allowing them to fall into the broader category itself.
  • Whether you deem us DPC, CM, or both, no matter which category or terminology you prefer to use, we are specifically a Family Medicine clinic, with a board certified Family Medicine physician, Dr. Nevin White, and we strive to provide our patients with excellent, high quality, cost-effective health care.

Opening Soon

Compassion Family Medicine will be opening soon!

The clinic remodel is well underway and should be finished in the next couple of weeks!! We will be posting photos on our social media pages/accounts.

We are actively answering questions about the practice and Direct Primary Care (DPC) in general and are happy to answer any questions you may have. Comment below or send us a message. Common questions that we have answered so far are that we do offer memberships, but also offer non-membership, pay as you go options. Also, even though we don’t take insurance for our primary care/family medicine services, you can still use your insurance if we refer you to a specialist or send you for a lab or imaging or send a prescription to your pharmacy.
